A pink loafer is an idea that does not occur to many, and that is precisely why it exists. Loafers are an almost wholly neutral world, and letting pink into it makes the piece noticed without shouting, because the shade itself is quiet. The Open Walk loafer in pink. Other colours sit in Loro Piana.
Pink in a neutral world
When everything around is brown, black and navy, one different colour is enough to change the whole impression. The pink here is not bright but quiet, so it distinguishes without imposing.
It is easier to style than expected, because it works with white, beige, denim and grey, which covers most of what gets worn in daylight.

What we noticed on inspection
The pink here is low in saturation and leans slightly earthy, which is what lets it work as a mature colour rather than a festive one. We noticed this pair carries no lace and no charms, so the colour alone is the detail. The cream sole balances the coolness of the pink. Sizing runs true. The Swagyo WhatsApp concierge settles the size before ordering.
What it works with
With white, beige, denim and light grey. Other colours sit in Loro Piana, or Loro Piana bags to complete the set.
