Dusty pink in suede looks different from the same colour in smooth leather. The short nap absorbs light and softens the intensity, and the result is a quiet shade closer to earth than to outright pink. The Summer Charms slide in pink. Other colours sit in Loro Piana.
How suede changes colour
A smooth surface reflects light so the colour reads stronger and purer; a velvety surface swallows part of the light so the colour reads deeper and quieter.
That explains why the pink here looks mature rather than girlish, a difference that matters to anyone hesitating over a pink shoe.

What we noticed on inspection
The brown footbed beneath the pink gives a warm contrast that serves the colour, a smarter choice than a matching pink footbed. We noticed the metal charm here is silver rather than gold, which keeps the composition cool and stops the pink reading sweeter than it should. The sole is finished underneath. Sizing runs true. The Swagyo WhatsApp concierge settles the size before ordering.
What it works with
With white, beige, linen and light denim. The other colours sit in Loro Piana, or Loro Piana bags to complete the set.
Frequently asked questions
Is the pink bright
No, suede absorbs light so the colour reads quietly earthy rather than outright.
Is the charm gold or silver
Brushed silver, a choice that keeps the composition cool.
Is a thin sole enough for walking
For moving about and sitting, yes. A long walk calls for a model with a thicker sole.
Does it run true to size
Yes, and the suede softens with use.
